CONSOLE stands for CONtract SOlutions for Effective and lasting delivery of agri-environmental- climate public goods by EU agriculture and forestry. CONSOLE is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and brings together 24 partners in 13 countries. It aims to investigate and further develop novel contractual solutions for environment, nature and climate protection in agriculture.
The objectives of the Workshop are:
− to understand the role that value chain contracts could play in fostering the provision of environmental benefits by the farming sector;
− to identify legal issues related to the implementation of such value chain contracts;
− to reveal existing obstacles and potential levers for a broader uptake of such value chain contracts.
